Men, whether if they are CEOs, retired business owners, or sons of professional families are as likely as anyone else to develop the disease of addiction. Yet, for them, finding the help they need may be especially difficult.
At La Verna Lodge, men can find extended residential care that is designed just for them. The staff works with residents to develop a sense of community with their peers and to understand the disease of addiction. As one of very few programs in the Midwest, Fairbanks' La Verna Lodge assists residents and their loved ones in understanding the process of treatment and recovery. Residents will leave with the ability to identify triggers of addictive behaviors, establish non-chemical coping skills, develop self help skills and learn how to maintain their recovery.
